Michael J. Coleman - CEO and Chairman

Michael Coleman founded Hyperrig in 2003 to provide IT products and services specializing in solutions for energy, banking and financial markets.

Michael Colemanis an acknowledged expert on energy trading and risk management. He is a regular guest speaker at international energy conferences. He contributes his expert opinion regularly in the energy press and has written white papers on a range of trading and risk management subjects.

Michael graduated from Middlesex University, London with an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering. In his early career he specialized in computer modeling of road transportation networks initially as a software engineer and later as a project manager working in the City of London for first tier merchant banks such as Banque Paribas, Credit Suisse and UBS.

Michael formed his first company CCS Limited in 1988 providing consultancy services to leading merchant banks in London.

In 1991, he formed a new company FSD Limited, to sell a packaged solution for commodities trading and risk management. Under Michael’s leadership, as CEO and Chairman, Vedaris became one of the world’s leading software vendors of energy trading and risk management.

   
Samir Gupta - Technical Director
Samir Gupta has over 14 years of experience in architecture and design evaluation, technology management, business analysis and researching mathematical models for interest rates and energy derivatives market.

Samir has analyzed, designed, developed and implemented sophisticated risk analysis tools for the Energy, Softs, IR and Fixed Income markets that support the entire gamut of trading instruments from simple forwards and swaps to exotic options like asians, lookbacks and swaptions.

Samir conceptualized futuristic architectural patterns like “Application-Neutral” Business Rules Engine and “Dynamic” Application Partitioning and translated those into working systems. He has implemented ETRM software solutions all over the world.
He graduated from Motilal Nehru REC Allahabad in 1993 and has worked for companies such as – Renaissance Software and Vedaris in the UK and India.
   
Naveen Tyagi – Manager Business Analysis group
Naveen Tyagi manages the business analysis group at hyperig, with responsibilities for consulting, understanding client’s needs, implementation and support services including solution deployment, data integration, legacy and third party systems integration, training and support for licensed software solutions and managed applications solutions. Naveen has been in engineering and support roles for more than 15 years including the last nine years in the trading and risk management software. Since 1999 he has worked on customer sites across the world doing business analysis, product implementation and support.
Mr. Tyagi has an MBA from Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad and a B.E in Electronics from M.N.R. Engineering College, Allahabad.
   
Shobhit Agrawal: Manager Business Development
Mr. Shobhit Agrawal manages all business development and sales initiatives including the definition and implementation of sales strategies. Mr. Agrawal has held senior positions at ICICI Bank for the last seven years, creating and managing large bank branches.

Mr. Agrawal holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mumbai.
